Why International Patients Choose FMS Dental in India?

Why international patients choose FMS

International patients choose FMS Dental because it is the most awarded and most completely equipped dental institution in India and because it was purpose-built for them. Most clinics that market to overseas patients are ordinary practices with a dental tourism page bolted on. FMS International Dental Center is the opposite: the international arm of a 33-year dental group made up of 2 International Dental Centers, 10 multispecialty dental clinics, a dental hospital, a dental college and its own laboratory.

The credentials are independently assessed, not self-declared. FMS was named International Dental Clinic of the Year by the International Medical Travel Journal (IMTJ) in Berlin in 2019… the only Indian dental clinic to win the world's benchmark medical travel award and Aesthetic Clinic of the Year at the IAE Awards, London, 2018. It is rated the No. 1 dental clinic in India by Global Clinic Rating (GCR) and is NABH-accredited, India's highest hospital quality standard, alongside ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018. Add Famdent Corporate Dental Chain of the Year for eight consecutive years (2017–2024), Times of India Best Dental Hospital in South India for nine (2017–2025) and India's Greatest Brands, URS Asia One / PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The technology is on par with global standards and unusually, all of it sits in one building: full-skull 3D CBCT, Nd:YAG, Er:YAG and Er,Cr:YSGG lasers, intraoral scanners, guided implant surgery, T-Scan digital occlusal analysis, the BioPak jaw-tracking system, an in-house clear aligner lab and a CAD-CAM dental laboratory established in 1995, which is precisely why a case that takes six weeks abroad is finished here in seven to ten days. Behind it sit OHSA-standard sterilisation protocols with tracked, validated cycles and Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery, the group's own dental college, teaching hospital and research institute. Your case is led by Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy (Dean, 31 peer-reviewed publications), Dr. Shailaja Reddy (25,000+ implants, 400+ practitioners mentored) and Dr. Dushyanth Paul (FDS RCPS, Glasgow). The protocols you are treated with are the protocols FMS teaches and publishes.

FMS INTERNATIONAL DENTAL CENTER · DENTAL TOURISM

Why should you prefer India as a destination for dental tourism and why not Turkey, Thailand, Mexico or Malaysia?

Dental tourism means travelling to another country for dental treatment because it costs dramatically less, is faster to schedule, or both. Istanbul and Antalya in Turkey, Bangkok in Thailand, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Budapest in Hungary and Cancún in Mexico built the category. India has overtaken them for complex, high-value dentistry and Hyderabad has become India's centre of it, because it combines advanced technology, genuinely senior specialists, enormous case volume, global quality standards and a research and teaching institute of its own in Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery.

WHY INDIA

What separates India from other major dental tourism destinations?

People rarely fly across the world for a filling. They travel when the numbers at home stop making sense: a full-mouth implant case quoted at US$60,000 in California, an All-on-4 arch at £15,000 in Manchester, a six-month wait for a specialist in Auckland. When they compare destinations, this is what separates India:

01

Cost — roughly one fourth of the West.

Not a discount on a lower standard, but the same materials and the same protocols at Indian operating costs. A complete smile rebuild costs less than a used car, and the saving holds at 60 to 80% even after flights and a week's hotel.

02

Identical materials and brands.

Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Osstem, Alpha Bio, IPS e.max, Ivoclar and 3M — the same systems used in New York, London and Sydney, named in your written plan with their warranties.

03

Transparency — the same procedures as the West.

The same digital protocols, the same guided-surgery workflow, the same occlusal verification. Your plan is itemised in writing before you travel, with the implant system, the number of visits and the total price stated up front. Nothing is decided after you land.

04

English-speaking care as standard, with translators on request.

No translator is needed to understand your treatment plan or ask a question in the chair, and Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Urdu are spoken across the team. This is India's single largest advantage over Turkey, Thailand and Mexico.

05

Case volume that translates into judgement.

25,000+ implants, All-on-4 since 2008, zygomatic implants since 2010. Turkish and Mexican smile-makeover clinics are often built around one dentist and one procedure; an FMS case is planned by an implantologist, a maxillofacial surgeon, a prosthodontist, a periodontist and an orthodontist together, on day one. Volume is what makes a difficult case routine.

06

Research and innovation behind the treatment.

Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery gives FMS an academic base — clinical research, published papers and postgraduate training — that commercial tourism clinics simply do not have. Independently verified by the IMTJ award, GCR No. 1 in India, NABH, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018.

07

Leisure can be built around the treatment.

Healing days are planned, not wasted. Forts, backwaters, beaches, hill stations, Ayurveda and some of the world's great food sit inside the same trip, and your itinerary is sequenced around your appointments rather than against them.

TWO INTERNATIONAL CENTERS

Why Hyderabad and Kochi?

Hyderabad

Hyderabad is India's pharmaceutical and healthcare capital… the country's largest cluster of drug manufacturers and a dense network of corporate hospitals, which means the city has the supply chain, the laboratories and the specialist training that dentistry depends on. International patients get big-city expertise at smaller-city prices. Rajiv Gandhi International (HYD) has nonstop service from San Francisco, New York, London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Muscat, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok, and you are 40 minutes from our Jubilee Hills flagship when you land. English is the working language across hotels, taxis, pharmacies and clinics thanks to the city's IT industry, and hotels, food and transport in Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills… leafy, safe residential neighbourhoods with cafés and 24-hour pharmacies, sit well below the equivalent areas of Delhi or Mumbai.

Kochi

Kochi suits patients who want treatment and a genuine holiday in one trip. Cochin International Airport (COK) has direct flights from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha, Muscat, Kuwait, Bahrain, Riyadh, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, and for Gulf-based patients it is often closer than Hyderabad. Kerala has been a medical tourism destination for longer than most of India. FMS International Dental Center, Kochi is not a satellite clinic with a visiting dentist… senior consultants from every department work there, to the same protocols and the same laboratory specification as Hyderabad. The centre sits in Edappally, opposite Oberon Mall on the NH Bypass: 25 minutes from the airport and 20 minutes from Fort Kochi.

FMS INTERNATIONAL DENTAL CENTER

Why are FMS International Dental Centers in Hyderabad & Kochi preferred by dental tourists?

Because every element that decides the outcome of an international dental case… the specialist, the implantologist, the surgeon, the prosthodontist, the laboratory, the technician, the sterilisation, the scheduling and the coordinator — is owned and controlled by FMS, under one roof, and all of it at a fraction of Western cost. Nothing is outsourced, so nothing waits.

01

Accessible locations, in two cities worth landing in

Both centres sit minutes from an international airport, and both sit inside cities that reward the days between appointments. Everything below is within a comfortable drive.

Around Hyderabad

Golconda Fort (10 km) for the ramparts at sunset and the sound-and-light show; Charminar, Chowmahalla Palace and the Laad Bazaar pearl markets (11 km); the Qutb Shahi Tombs and Taramati Baradari (15 km); the Salar Jung Museum (12 km), one of the world's largest single-person art collections; Nehru Zoological Park (16 km, 380 acres, good for families); Hussain Sagar, Lumbini Park and Birla Mandir (12 km) for an easy evening; Ramoji Film City (35 km), the world's largest film studio complex; Ananthagiri Hills and Vikarabad (75 km) for forest trails, coffee plantations and the home of Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery; Bhongir Fort and Yadadri Temple (50 to 60 km); and Nagarjuna Sagar with Nagarjunakonda (150 km), one of the world's largest masonry dams and a Buddhist island museum — a classic full-day trip during implant healing.

Soft-food days do not have to be dull. Hyderabadi biryani, haleem and Irani chai are worth the trip on their own — and your dentist will tell you exactly when you can start.

02

Kochi and Kerala — God's Own Country

Kerala earned the name, and no dental destination in the world pairs recovery time with a better place to spend it. Implant healing days here look like backwaters, beaches, hill air and Ayurveda rather than a hotel room.

Around Kochi

Fort Kochi and Mattancherry (12 km) for the Chinese fishing nets, colonial streets, the Dutch Palace and Jew Town's antique shops; Marine Drive and Bolgatty Island (8 km) for backwater sunsets ten minutes from dinner; Cherai Beach (25 km), where a beach and a backwater share the same strip; the Hill Palace Museum at Tripunithura (15 km), Kerala's largest archaeological museum; Kodanad Elephant Sanctuary (42 km) on the Periyar river; Athirappilly Falls (70 km), Kerala's largest waterfall and spectacular after the monsoon; the Alleppey backwaters (55 km), where a houseboat night is the single best way to spend healing time; and the Munnar tea estates (130 km) for a two-night break between appointments. Ayurvedic wellness resorts run throughout the region and are genuinely useful during healing, as is some of the best and cheapest seafood in India.

03

A dedicated team of dentists as International Patient Coordinators

Your coordinator is a dentist, not a call-centre operator… so the person answering your question understands the clinical side as well as the logistics. One named coordinator handles everything from your first email or WhatsApp message to your follow-up call three months after you are home: video consultation, records, visa invitation letter, hotel shortlist at FMS corporate rates, appointment scheduling around your flights, billing and records transfer to your home dentist.

  • Free airport pick-up and drop-off — at Hyderabad or Kochi, for you and your companion.
  • Accommodation guidance — a shortlist of vetted hotels and serviced apartments near the centre, at negotiated rates, with drive times.
  • Leisure and travel planning — your coordinator maps the sightseeing, the inter-city travel and the rest days around your appointments, and helps book them.
  • Your time zone, your language — WhatsApp support before, during and after your visit. English, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Urdu are spoken across the team.
04

Senior consultants from every specialty, in one building

Implantology, cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, oral and maxillofacial surgery, prosthodontics, laser dentistry, TMD care, periodontics, endodontics and paediatric dentistry are all represented at FMS International Dental Center by senior consultants — not rotating junior staff. When your case needs a surgeon, a prosthodontist and a periodontist to agree on a plan, they sit in the same room on day one. You are not referred across town and you do not lose a day waiting.

05

Faster turnaround — major cases finished in 7 to 10 days

International patients travel for short windows, so your treatment is planned against a calendar, not a waiting list. Before you fly you receive a written plan with each visit dated: scans and surgery on day one, lab work overnight, fitting and review before you leave. Chair time is blocked in advance for your case.

  • Single implants, crowns, veneers, root canals: 5 to 7 days.
  • Full-mouth rehabilitation, All-on-4, All-on-6, zygomatic cases: 7 to 10 days, with fixed provisional teeth on the day of surgery wherever clinically possible.
  • If your case genuinely needs two visits, we say so before you book anything — not after you arrive.
06

In-house CAD-CAM laboratory and master technicians, since 1995

FMS DentoCrafts, our CAD-CAM dental laboratory, was established in 1995… one of India's earliest. Crowns, bridges, veneers, surgical guides and implant prostheses are designed, milled and hand-layered a floor away from your chair. That is why a crown that takes two to three weeks abroad is fitted here in one to two days, and why a shade or contour change happens the same afternoon instead of in a fortnight.

Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy's 25-year working relationship with master ceramists Javeed, Waseem are the reason FMS veneers look the way they do. Dentist and technician review every unit together, in person, before it goes into your mouth. Clinics that outsource fabrication cannot do this, and it shows in the result.

07

Quality control and OHSA-standard sterilisation

Every restoration passes an internal quality check before it reaches the chair. Every instrument passes a tracked, validated sterilisation cycle before it reaches you. NABH accreditation, ISO 9001:2015 quality management and ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety certification mean these are audited systems, not promises.

08

Awards and accolades that verify all of the above

IMTJ International Dental Clinic of the Year 2019 (Berlin). IAE Aesthetic Clinic of the Year, London 2018. GCR No. 1 in India. NABH accreditation. Famdent Corporate Dental Chain of the Year, eight consecutive years. Times of India Best Dental Hospital in South India, nine consecutive years. Implant systems from Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Osstem and Alpha Bio, each named in your written plan with its warranty.

09

All of it at a fraction of Western cost

A full-arch All-on-4 that costs US$35,000 to $60,000 in the United States costs US$9,000 to $13,000 at FMS. That is not a lower standard of care at a lower price. It is the same materials, the same implant brands, the same digital protocols and more senior specialists per case — at Indian operating costs.

10

Coordination between the two clinics - one case file, one software, two cities

Hyderabad and Kochi run on a single shared digital record. Your scans, treatment plan, lab prescriptions and clinical photographs are visible to both teams the moment they are uploaded. In practice this gives you three things:

  • Joint planning. Complex Kochi cases are reviewed with the Hyderabad senior consultants over video before treatment begins, and vice versa. You get two centres' worth of specialist opinion for one visit.
  • The same laboratory standard. Prostheses for both centres are designed on the same digital workflow and made to the same specification by the same CAD-CAM laboratory.
  • Flexibility across visits. Start in one city, return through the other, and your case continues without repeating scans or re-explaining your history. Some Gulf-based patients place implants in Kochi on a family visit and have final crowns fitted in Hyderabad on a business trip.

If you are travelling elsewhere in India between appointments and something needs checking, you are never far from an FMS chair — and more destinations are on the way, with FMS International centres planned for Goa, Rajasthan and Delhi.

A PATIENT JOURNEY · FULL-MOUTH IMPLANT REHABILITATION
Oliver Vance, USA — twelve days, two cities and one case file

Oliver Vance flew in from the United States for a full-mouth rehabilitation with implants. His case was coordinated end to end by Dr. Rohini, one of the dentists on the FMS International Patient Coordination team, who had his plan, his price and his day-by-day schedule agreed before he boarded.

Day 1 to 2

consultation with the senior specialists, full-skull 3D CBCT and intraoral scans, and blood investigations. The final plan was confirmed the same day.

Days 3 to 5

treatment performed. Implants placed and a fixed provisional prosthesis delivered, so he left the chair with teeth.

Day 6

review and observation, with the tender days deliberately scheduled to fall mid-stay rather than near a flight.

Day 7

cleared to travel, he flew out to see the Taj Mahal.

Days 8 to 12

on to Kochi for rejuvenation: backwaters, Ayurveda and rest, with his case file already open to the Kochi team.

Day 12

sutures removed at FMS International Dental Center, Kochi, and he flew home to the USA from there.

No scan was repeated, no history re-explained and no appointment renegotiated in either city, because both teams were working from the same record. He was, in his own words, happy with the coordination, the treatment and the follow-ups that continued after he landed.

He returns next year for three weeks to receive his permanent prosthesis and has already asked Dr. Rohini to build Goa, Jaipur and Ayodhya into the tour map around his appointments.

Dental tourism is not really tourism. It is world-class treatment at FMS, planned so that the time it takes becomes time worth spending.

IN PRACTICE

WHAT THAT MEANS FOR YOU IN PRACTICE

  • A written treatment plan and fixed price before you travel, from the doctor who will treat you
  • Every specialist your case needs in one centre, consulted on day one
  • Appointments dated around your flights, with chair time reserved
  • Lab work turned around in 1 to 2 days, so you fly home with fixed provisional or permanent teeth wherever clinically possible
  • One coordinator, one WhatsApp thread, before, during and after your visit
FMS International Dental Care

Why is FMS the best dental clinic for dental tourism in India?

Because international patients at FMS can access every dental and maxillofacial specialty… dental implants (single, All-on-4, All-on-4Plus, zygomatic, pterygoid and basal), cosmetic dentistry (porcelain and e.max veneers, Digital Smile Design, gum contouring, lip fillers, neuromodulators, smile arc and cant correction), orthodontics and Invisalign clear aligners, TMJ and bite correction, oral and maxillofacial surgery (orthognathic surgery, Le Fort fracture management, cleft lip and cleft palate reconstruction), periodontal and laser treatment, crowns and bridges, root canal treatment, dentures and paediatric dentistry — and because the three disciplines international patients actually travel for are the three FMS is most decorated in.

FMS International Dental Center
International Dental Care
01

Advanced dental implants

This is what most international patients come for and it is where FMS is furthest ahead of any other clinic in India. Dr. Shailaja Reddy and her team have placed more than 25,000 implants since 1999 with a documented 98.6% success rate. FMS introduced All-on-4 to South Asia in 2008, zygomatic implants in 2010 and pterygoid implants in 2015… techniques that very few Indian centres offer even today.

01
The full range

single-tooth implants, advanced full-arch protocols including All-on-4 and All-on-4Plus, All-on-6 and basal implants, plus zygomatic and pterygoid implants for patients who have been told elsewhere that they have “no bone.” Bone grafting, sinus lifts and ridge augmentation where the biology calls for them and graft-free protocols where it does not. Systems span the most advanced implants used worldwide… Nobel Active and Nobel Speedy from Nobel Biocare and the Straumann BLS system, alongside budget-friendly, clinically proven options from Alpha Bio and Osstem, so every case is matched to the system it actually needs. All of it named in your written plan with its warranty.

02
Planned before a single incision

full-skull 3D CBCT, virtual implant placement and 3D-printed surgical guides, so placement is decided on a screen rather than in your mouth.

03
Infrastructure most dental clinics do not have

an in-house operation theatre, ICU, 24/7 emergency cover and a senior maxillofacial surgical team led by Dr. Dushyanth Paul for the complex end of the spectrum.

04
Timeline

fixed provisional teeth on the day of surgery wherever clinically possible; most full-arch cases completed in 7 to 10 days. From ₹24,000 per single basal implant.

02

Cosmetic dentistry and smile makeovers

FMS is the only Indian dental clinic to hold the IAE Aesthetic Clinic of the Year award from London and Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy has been designing smiles since 1993 for patients from 40+ countries. The difference is not the veneer… it is the laboratory and the fact that the dentist and the ceramist work in the same building.

FMS is known for combining procedures across a single visit rather than treating them as separate journeys… teeth and gums alongside lip and facial correction, so a patient booked in for e.max veneers can, in the same trip, have gum contouring done through minimally invasive, key-hole techniques, lip fillers or neuromodulators and even facial rejuvenation such as a facelifts, all planned and sequenced by one coordinated team.

01
Digital Smile Design first

your new smile is designed and previewed on screen, then trialled as a 3D-printed mock-up in your mouth before anything irreversible is done.

02
Materials chosen for your case

IPS e.max and porcelain veneers, feldspathic ceramics and zirconia, hand-layered and glazed by master ceramists in our own lab.

03
The full aesthetic bench

periodontists, orthodontists, maxillofacial surgeons and dermatologists convene for a single smile — very few clinics anywhere can do this.

04
Turnaround

shade and contour changes the same afternoon; most full smile makeovers completed in one 7 to 10 day visit. Veneers from about ₹22,000 per porcelain veneer.

03

Clear aligners — and why SmartALIGN changes the maths

Invisalign at FMS still costs a fraction of what it costs in the USA, the UK, Australia or the Gulf… from ₹1,30,000 to ₹2,50,000 for a full case. The one practical catch: Invisalign aligners are manufactured abroad and shipped, so plan around 3 weeks (21 days) in India if you want your first sets in person, or have them couriered home.

FMS SmartALIGN, our own clear aligner system designed and 3D-printed in our in-house aligner lab since 2017, solves that timing problem. Your scan is taken on day one and your aligners are produced on site, so a full set can be delivered in as little as 5 days. The cost of FMS SmartALIGN starts from ₹70,000, a fraction of Invisalign's US, UK or Indian price. Either way, progress is reviewed over video after you fly home, with refinements shipped to you.

Invisalign

₹1,30,000 to ₹2,50,000, a 3-week (21-day) turnaround for in-person collection.

03
Either system

remote monitoring for the rest of the treatment, plus ceramic and metal braces for cases better served by fixed appliances.

04

Gum surgery and laser-assisted periodontal therapy

International patients also travel to FMS for flap surgery, bone grafting and laser-assisted gum therapies such as LANAP, usually because a case that has been diagnosed but deferred at home needs a specialist willing to treat gum disease surgically rather than manage it indefinitely. Flap surgery cleans and reshapes the gum and bone around badly affected teeth, bone grafting rebuilds lost support ahead of an implant or a natural tooth and laser-assisted protocols do both with less cutting, less bleeding and a shorter recovery than conventional surgery.

01
Lasers available at FMS

Nd\:YAG and Er,Cr\:YSGG for LANAP-protocol and laser-assisted periodontal therapy and Er\:YAG for hard- and soft-tissue procedures… the same laser suite used for cosmetic gum contouring and root canal therapy elsewhere on this page.

02
Typical case

diagnostic scans and the surgical or laser session in the first few days, with a review appointment and suture removal before you fly. Full soft-tissue healing continues after you are home.

03
Timeframe

most gum surgery and grafting cases are planned around 2 weeks in India, sometimes paired with implant or restorative treatment in the same visit.

WHAT PATIENTS COME TO INDIA FOR

  • Patients from the USA and Canada most often come for implants and full-mouth cases.
  • UK and Irish patients tend to come for All-on-4 and veneers.
  • Gulf-based patients, many of them NRIs, use a long weekend for crowns, root canals and aligner scans.
  • Australians and New Zealanders usually combine a two-week holiday with a full smile rebuild.
FMS International Dental Care

Who are the top dentists at FMS Dental for international patients?

International cases at FMS are led by three of the most searched and most decorated names in Indian dentistry: Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy (Founder Chairman and Chief Cosmetic Dentist), Dr. Shailaja Reddy (Chief Implantologist, 25,000+ implants) and Dr. Dushyanth Paul (Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, FDS RCPS Glasgow). Your case is assigned to the specialist who performs that procedure every single day, and each of them leads a standing team, not a rotating roster.

She and her team have placed more than 25,000 implants since her first in 1999, with a documented 98.6% success rate. That is the reason she can look at a CBCT and tell you within minutes whether you are an All-on-4 candidate or need a zygomatic approach.

04
Academic

Head of the Department of Oral Implantology at Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery, where she has mentored over 400 dental practitioners.

Her team is the reason the numbers hold: maxillofacial surgeons Dr. Dushyanth Paul, Dr. Sasank and Dr. Prabhat; prosthodontists Dr. Kavya, Dr. Aditya and Dr. Divya; periodontists Dr. Aravinda and Dr. Murali Krishna — the same group for more than two decades, with master technicians who have been in the FMS CAD-CAM lab since 2000. Every case is planned on full-skull 3D CBCT with virtual placement and 3D-printed guides, and performed with an in-house operation theatre and ICU on site.

Best for international patients who need

All-on-4, All-on-6, zygomatic and pterygoid implants, full-mouth implant rehabilitation, immediate-load implants and revision of implants placed elsewhere.

Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy — Founder Chairman & Chief Cosmetic Dentist

BDS (Government Dental College, Osmania University, 1989) · MDS (Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Mangalore University, 1993) · Dean and Head of Aesthetic Dentistry, SSCDS · DSD certified · 30+ years · 31 peer-reviewed publications · Reg. No. A-661

Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy is the name that appears heavily across Google, Meta and the LLMs, because he has been designing smiles since 1993, with thousands of smile makeovers to his name and patients from 40+ countries. He started FMS in 1993 as India's first true multispecialty dental clinic. Thirty years later he still sees patients every day, and still checks every veneer case personally before it is bonded.

01
30+ years in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry

spanning every generation of ceramic technology — feldspathic (VITABLOCS Mark II) in the late 1990s, Empress all-ceramics in the early 2000s, IPS e.max and zirconia today, and now CAD-CAM milling, 3D printing and AI-assisted digital smile design.

02
Digital Smile Design

certified across DSD, Nemotec, EXOCAD and 3Shape. You see and approve your new smile on screen, then trial a 3D-printed mock-up, before anything irreversible is done.

03
Laboratory mastery

trained in advanced ceramics from 1995 and CAD-CAM from 2010, he walks into the FMS lab and directs shade, translucency and morphology himself. Very few clinicians anywhere have this level of laboratory control.

04
Awards

“Hall of Fame in Dentistry,” Times of India (2025) and Legend in Dentistry (2023); Best Aesthetic Practice of the Year, IAE Awards London 2018; Famdent Corporate Dental Chain of the Year for eight consecutive years (2017–2024); India's Greatest Brands, URS Asia One / PricewaterhouseCoopers.

05
Academic

Dean of Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery and Head of its Department of Aesthetic Dentistry, with 31 national and international publications in peer-reviewed journals.

A smile is never one treatment, which is why he built FMS as a team institution. His cosmetic team brings in senior periodontists Dr. Aravinda and Dr. Murali Krishna for gum shaping and contouring; senior orthodontists Dr. Deepti Reddy and Dr. Abhinav for Invisalign and pre-cosmetic alignment; Dr. Dushyanth Paul for complex jaw and facial corrections; and, through FMS Skin & Hair and FMS Sculpt, senior dermatologists including Dr. Swati for lip and skin conditions, and plastic surgeons for facial corrections.

Best for international patients who need

porcelain and e.max veneers, Hollywood smile makeovers, Digital Smile Design, full-mouth aesthetic rehabilitation, gummy smile correction and any case where the result has to look natural rather than “done.”

Even after flights and a week's hotel, most patients save 60 to 80% on a full-mouth case. A return economy fare from London is typically £600 to £900; from New York or Toronto, US$1,000 to $1,500; from the Gulf, under US$300. A comfortable hotel in Jubilee Hills costs US$50 to $70 a night.

Your treatment timeline in India

A typical single-visit case looks like this. Complex and full-mouth cases receive a written schedule of their own, usually spanning 7 to 10 days.

00
Day 0 · At home.

Free video consultation with the senior dentist and every specialist your case needs. You send X-rays, CBCT or photos; we send a treatment plan, an itemised price and a visa invitation letter.

01
Day 1 · Arrival.

Free airport pick-up. Full-skull 3D CBCT, intraoral scan and clinical examination. Final plan confirmed and chair time locked.

02–05
Days 2 to 5 · Treatment.

Blood reports, surgery, preparations and digital impressions. The in-house lab turns crowns, veneers and prostheses around overnight while you rest or explore the city.

06–08
Days 6 to 8 · Leisure.

Sightseeing, rest, cuisine and travel between cities, scheduled around your healing rather than against it.

09
Day 9 · Review.

Fitting, T-Scan bite verification and adjustments. Photographs, scans and records handed over.

10
Day 10 · Fly home.

Post-operative instructions, medication, a digital copy of everything for your home dentist, and your coordinator's direct number. Free airport drop-off.

Follow-up continues after you land: review calls, video consultations and coordination with your home dentist so nothing is left hanging.

Medical visa for dental treatment in India
FMS Dental · International Patients

Do you need a medical visa for dental treatment in India?

For planned dental treatment in India, apply for an e-Medical Visa (e-MV) using an invitation letter from FMS. It allows a stay of up to 60 days with triple entry, is valid 120 days from grant and is usually processed in 3 to 5 working days. Up to two companions can apply for a linked e-Medical Attendant Visa. An e-Tourist Visa is fine for a short whitening, aligner scan or consultation trip, but the e-Medical Visa is the correct category when treatment is the purpose of travel.

Before You Travel

Documents you will need

Prepare these documents before submitting your e-Medical Visa application. Keeping the information consistent across your passport, FMS invitation letter and application helps avoid unnecessary delays.
  • 01
Passport valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date, with two blank pages
  • 02
    A recent passport-style digital photograph
  • 03
The FMS invitation letter on hospital letterhead, naming you, your treatment and your dates
  • 04
    Your return or onward itinerary
  • 05
For attendants: proof of relationship to the patient and the patient's visa details
24h

FMS issues your invitation letter within 24 hours of confirming your treatment plan, and your coordinator checks your application before you submit it — most rejections come from small mismatches between the letter, the passport and the form.

Important visa information

Apply only through the official Government of India portal at indianvisaonline.gov.in. Visa rules, fees and eligible nationalities change; confirm current requirements before you apply. Citizens of some countries need a regular sticker medical visa from an Indian embassy rather than the e-Visa — we will tell you if that applies to you.
