When Hyderabad’s patients and international visitors ask who the best dentist in India is, one name comes up again and again: Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy. After he founded FMS Dental in 1993, one of India’s first multispecialty, technology-led dental care networks, he has treated, taught and led in dentistry for more than 30 years.
Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy is a dental surgeon first. His clinical focus is especially in smile designing with ceramic veneers and full mouth rehabilitation. He has always had a strong interest in dental lab technology. He began working with ceramics in 1995, when the in-house dental lab was first set up, and moved on to CAD-CAM systems in 2010.
Today he is leading the clinic's adoption of AI-assisted smile design, bringing together Digital Smile Design, CAD-CAM and 3D printing, supported by software platforms such as Exocad, 3Shape and Nemotec, to deliver precise, predictable results. He has diagnosed and managed thousands of advanced cases, and he built FMS Dental around one principle: every patient deserves a complete diagnosis and a coordinated plan, with the right specialist handling each part of the treatment.
Today, FMS Dental runs 13 branches across Hyderabad and Kochi. FMS International Dental Center is NABH accredited and has been recognised internationally for clinical excellence. Dr. P. A great smile is made in two places: the dental chair and the dental lab. Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy has mastered both. In 1995 he started the FMS Dental Lab and for over 30 years he has worked with every major generation of dental ceramics, the tooth-coloured materials used for veneers and crowns.

Full-skull 3D CBCT, intraoral scans, bite analysis (T-Scan) and digital smile design give a precise picture of teeth, gums, bone, jaw joint and bite.

He has published 31 papers in national and international journals. These include the Journal of Public Health, Oral Health & Preventive Dentistry, the Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research, the Asian Pacific Journal of Cancer Prevention and the Dental Research Journal. His topics include enamel defects, gum disease, dental anxiety, oral health and quality of life, and jaw joint problems (temporomandibular disorders).
He has trained and guided thousands of dental professionals through continuing education programmes, clinical workshops and one-to-one mentoring of young specialists.
He also keeps learning himself. Since 1994, he has attended international training programmes in ceramic lab technology, aesthetic dentistry, Digital Smile Design and CAD-CAM.
For Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy, dentistry has never stayed inside the clinic. Since 1995, he has taken oral healthcare to villages, schools and families who needed it most, long before most people understood why dental care matters.
Dental camps have been his forte since 1995. Working with the Rotary and Lions Clubs, he has held thousands of camps. In those early days, many people did not know what a dentist did. Camp by camp, he helped them understand and treated them along the way.
Starting in 1995, the Little Star programmes by Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy reached schools across Hyderabad and Secunderabad. Children were screened and treated for oral health problems. Their families were also taught how to care for their teeth, so good habits began at home.
For people who could not reach a dental clinic, Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy brought the clinic to them. From 1995, his mobile dental clinic served lakhs of people across Telangana.
Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy believes that prevention starts with knowledge. He shares simple, useful oral health advice through articles, newspapers and other media, so that more people can protect their teeth.
Through the Department of Public Health Dentistry at Sri Sai College of Dental Surgery, Dr. P. Parthasaradhi Reddy has served lakhs of people in rural areas of Ranga Reddy district, Telangana from 2001. The team covered most community health programmes, educating and treating people who had little access to dental care.
He took part in the Janmabhoomi programmes from 1996 to 2000 to cater to the underserved people. He has continued this work through public health dentistry since 2001.
These efforts aim to improve oral health awareness and prevention in the community.
