To create direct composite veneers, composite material is applied to the front surfaces of the teeth and sculpted to the desired shape and finish under the hands of an experienced cosmetic dentist. The advantage with composite veneers is that they can be done in one sitting of about 2 hour’s duration and minimal tooth preparation is required. So in case the patient is unhappy with the outcome they can be easily removed. Moreover they also give the patient an idea as to how porcelain laminates will look if he/she ever decides to go for them in the future.
