Today, two types of clear aligner options are available in the market.
In-office aligners like Invisalign, ClearCorrect, SureSmile, FMS SmartALIGN etc. are well-known options in India. These in-office aligners are always the best bet because all critical steps from the planning to follow up are done in the respective clinics by the in-house orthodontist. At-home aligners, also called direct-to-consumer aligners, may be cheaper than some in-office aligners. Treatment is planned and executed remotely, so you will never visit a dentist or an orthodontist for checkups. There’s a huge risk factor in these cases, as without supervision the whole treatment process can go wrong. In our opinion, only mild to moderate cases can be done with such aligners.
